Eltham Warriors
Eltham Warriors gym was established in 1992.
The gym was first named Eltham Thai Boxing and was developed
by Head Coach Lee Whittington. The Gym is still going from
strength to strength with a team of coaches that have been
training since the gym began. Go to the Coaches corner for

The Eltham Warriors first Champion was Tyrone Alexander who
was one of the most technical and dynamic fighters in the
Country. He became the WMTO British and Commonwealth Super
Middleweight Champion. Tyrone was showcased on Sky sports
on several occasions and to this day remains a great fighter.
Tyrone and Lee Whittington flew the flag for the Warriors
in the early days and took the Warriors approach to Thai /
Kick boxing to the ring and proved its effectiveness with
great class.
Andy the 'Spartan' Kipriano was the Warriors second champion
and since 1993 he has won 5 prestigious Title Belts. He is
currently the IKF English, British, and European Champion.
He also holds the WMTO Heavyweight Title. Andy is also renowned
as being one of, if not the Best Heavyweights in the Country.
Mark 'The Beast' Epstein is The Eltham Warriors first but
not last World Heavyweight Champion. Mark won the Heavyweight
Title after standing in late for his stable mate Andy 'The
Spartan' Kipriano at the Kings Hall, Herne Bay, Kent back
in March 2005. Mark is also a former Cage Fighting Champion
and popular at the Cage Rage events in London. He is also
renowned for his heart and determination in such a tough sport.
Mark relishes in the fact that he is an Eltham Warrior. Mark
has been asked to fight in Canada, in a K1 Tournament.
The Warriors gym have also produced some great up and coming
fighters that are still training hard on a regular basis.
Film star Tamar Hassan, star of films such as Calcium Kid,
Football Factory and Layer Cake trains at Eltham Warriors.
